Below is a list of planned music projects for the next few years. Exact dates and projects are subject to change.

2026

Northern Landscape (Orchestra)

This orchestral tone poem is inspired by the painting Northern Landscape, Spring by the 19th-century German artist, Caspar David Friedrich (1774-1840). I came across this painting for the first time on July 16, 2026 and instantly took inspiration from it, composing about 2:40 minutes worth of orchestral music in a few hours. I plan to make this work about 10 minutes in length and will be releasing an audio recording on YouTube, as well as publishing the score at some point.

We Have This Hope (arr. Organ)

Commissioned by the Abbotsford SDA Church; Dr. Richard Egolf, Organist. An arrangement for solo organ based on the original hymn by Wayne Hooper. I decided to compose two versions of this work: a “Concert” version and a “Postlude” version. The Concert version is already completed.

The Tin Soldier (arr. Flute, Clarinet & String Orchestra)

An original work based on Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Steadfast Tin Soldier”. First composed for Clarinet & String Trio and then later arranged for a larger ensemble, this five-movement suite was completed in June 1998. I will be working on editing & publishing the conductor’s score & parts, as well as creating a new video/audio recording.
